Keysound Recordings ring in 2016 with a fresh new slice of grime coming from early Slew Dem Crew affiliate JT the Goon.
The producer recently cooked up full-length 'King Triton' for Oil Gang in December, a reference to the 'amsfeedbacklead' Korg Triton preset. That sound that he popularised has now become as recognisable as the Wiley ‘eski’ click or the ‘Pulse X’ bass hits in grime music.
His new EP, consisting of the original (which we’re premiering now) and not one but three VIP edits, eschews the more abrasive, aggressive strand of instrumental grime for the melodic.
