Marking ten years of ‘J Dilla Changed My Life’ parties, The Doctor’s Orders are throwing a mammoth bash to celebrate the genius of James ‘J Dilla’ Yancey.
Taking place at London’s Scala on 7th February, Dilla’s birthday, they’ve booked the biggest line-up to date, with performances from his brother Illa J, first MC partner Phat Kat, De La Soul’s DJ Maseo, Shortee Blitz and Kidkanevil.
All proceeds are going to the J Dilla Foundation and Lupus UK, with £10 the minimum donation.
It’s looking to be a fitting tribute to the legend who’s inspired so many.
Tickets can be found here.
