LISTEN BACK TO KODE9’S BBC RADIO 1 RESIDENCY SHOW

The Hyperdub boss took over Radio 1 last night

Kode9 played his first BBC Radio 1 Residency show last night.

The Hyperdub boss took over the airwaves for an hour-long set that included tracks from stalwarts on the label’s roster such as ScratchaDVA, Terror Danjah as well as new material from Fatima Al Qadiri's upcoming second album 'Brute'.

Footwork was also well-represented with tracks by Jlin, DJ Taye & DJ Earl, DJ Spinn and DJ Taso all getting plays.

Last year, Kode9 released his debut album ‘Nothing’. He joins Nina Kraviz, Steve Angello, Oliver Heldens, George FitzGerald and James Blake as Radio 1 residents.
