Gogol Bordello & Iggy Headline Get Loaded

NYC based gypsy punks Gogol Bordello and rock royalty Iggy & The Stooges headline this year's Get Loaded

Now in its fourth year, London's original indie-dance festival Get Loaded have pulled out their most audacious and impressive assembly yet with acts as varied as punk and rock icons Iggy and The Stooges, Berlin's electro noiseniks Boys Noize, and mockney songstress Kate Nash amongst those playing this year's events.

Taking place on Sunday 24th August on Clapham Common, the event's outdoor main stage will be charged by the wild debauchery of rock royalty Iggy Pop and his reformed Stooges, raucous Brit-pop strummers Supergrass and NYC's high octane gypsy punks Gogol Bordello.

Pushing forward with new stages, this year's Get Loaded will also feature two arena debuts from alternative radio station XFM and the colourful Together promotion. XFM have already invited Kate Nash, Wall Of Sound's Reverend And The Makers and Ipso Facto whilst Together's typically eclectic arena hosts Beth Ditto's punky Gossip, indie-dance heroes Soulwax, a Mylo DJ set, Boys Noize and The Presets.

With many more acts still due to be announced,Get Loaded will rock out from midday to 9pm and is already shaping up to be one of the highlights of an ever blossoming festival season. Tickets are just £35 too (plus booking fee) and can be nabbed at www.ticketmaster.com or www.seetickets.co.uk
