DAFT PUNK GET THE FAMILY GUY TREATMENT AGAIN

As well as Lana Del Rey and Shazam...

Daft Punk made another fleeting appearance on hit US cartoon Family Guy this week alongside music discovery app Shazam and Lana Del Rey.

In the skit — which you can watch in full below — Peter Griffin, Cleveland Brown, Joe Swanson and Glenn Quagmire are arguing over what track is being played on the jukebox in their local bar.

Peter Griffin is certain it's Billy Joel, while Glenn Quagmire is certain it's Daft Punk's seminal track 'Around The World'. To end the argument Cleveland Brown whips out his phone and uses music discovery app Shazam to tag the track. Peter is so taken aback by the app, he decides he'll Shazam one of his farts, which amusingly comes back as a Lana Del Rey track.

It's not the first time the robots have appeared in Family Guy, the duo made an appearance on the show just a couple of months ago.

In other Daft Punk news, Daft Punk documentary 'Daft Punk Unchained' will get its UK premiere this week via BBC Four on February 19th at 10pm, and there's also rumours that Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is preparing a solo album for sometime later this year.
