LISTEN TO KEVIN OVER'S NEW CLUB KILLER, 'ZON'

At just 24 years old, Germany’s Kevin Over has been lighting up dancefloors across the globe for the past year with his raw, infectious grooves that flawlessly span the house and techno underground. Etienne de Crecy, Waze & Odyssey, Noir, Andhim and Pirupa have all included his music in their Essential Mixes; and in the past year, Kevin has signed releases to Noir Music, Get Physical, Mobilee and Truesoul.

DJ Mag is pleased to premiere ‘Zon’, Kevin Over’s latest bit of sorcery off his four-track EP, ‘Write Your Hits’ on VIVa MUSiC. ‘Zon’ is a heavy, thudding roller spiked with emotion — a hypnotic, string-infused breakdown halfway through adds a surprising element of euphoria to the distinctly Detroit-inspired sound. Close your eyes and you might just end up at Berghain.

We’re not the only ones enchanted by Kevin’s careful production choices, though. With the likes of Laurent Garnier, Maya Jane Coles, Adam Beyer, Stacey Pullen and Kerri Chandler happily supporting his work, we think it’s safe to say that Kevin Over’s journey to the top is well underway.
