RBMA FESTIVAL RETURNS TO NEW YORK THIS APRIL

A month of live performances, workshops, screenings and parties...

Red Bull Music Academy Festival will be making a return to New York this spring with a month of live performances, workshops, screenings and parties starting on April 29th to May 22nd.

Highlights include Dizzie Rascal performing his 2003 breakout album ‘Boy In Da Corner’ in its entirety, Amsterdam’s Dekmantel and New York City’s The Bunker will be joining forces for a night of dark and driving electronic music, and legendary filmmaker Spike Lee will be in conversation with Nelson George.

During the day-time, festival goers can enjoy the Brooklyn Flea Record Fair, which will be taking place at Williamsburg waterfront and is set to feature stalls from over 50 independent record labels, alongside food from Smorgasburg and a hand-picked selection of DJs to soundtrack the event.

And on the final day, the festival finishes with a special event ‘Last Night A DJ Saved My Soul’, which explores the organic connection between house music and gospel, and will feature legendary group Joubert Singers, DJ Pierre, Floorplan, Ann Nesby and Slow To Speak’s Paul Nickerson.
