With Miller Genuine Draft

It’s that time again! 2016’s Top 100 DJs poll launches on 6th July. The world’s biggest music poll, which attracts 1 million annual voters and inspires huge debate throughout the electronic music scene, is the definitive guide to the planet’s most popular DJs.

Ahead of the voting launch, we summarise this year’s big talking points...

Can Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike win again?

Belgian brothers, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, shocked the world when they were announced as 2015’s No.1 DJs. The Tomorrowland residents mobilized support in their home country and at shows all over the world to take the crown. The real test comes now; can they hold onto the No.1 spot for a second year?

Will Hardwell return to the top?

Two-time Top 100 DJs champion, Hardwell, will be determined to reclaim his prize from the Belgium duo in 2016’s poll. If he does, he’ll join an elite group of DJs who have topped the list on three separate occasions.

Big room or future house?

Over the last twelve months, we have seen a shift away from big room EDM, in favour of the slower, groovier sound commonly referred to as future house. But will it be the future of the Top 100 DJs poll? Oliver Heldens, Disclosure and Kygo made huge advances in 2015 - will we see the trend continue in 2016?

Could Martin Garrix be the youngest ever winner?

Martin Garrix is nothing short of a sensation. In just a few short years, the 21 year old Dutchman, has propelled himself onto dance music’s top table. He currently sits at No.3 in the poll. If he makes it to the top in 2016, he’ll be the youngest ever Top 100 DJs champion.

Top 100 DJs Voting launches on 6th July at 12pm (BST). You can keep up to date with the world’s biggest DJs by following Miller Genuine Draft on Facebook.
