DEADMAU5 REVEALS FEE PER SHOW, CONFIRMS NEW ALBUM NEARLY FINISHED
Canadian also announces live shows in the works...
It's been a busy week for the man in the mousey mask, having launched his own virtual reality game Absolut Deadmau5 and declared VR to be the next step for the music bizz, he's now shared info on both his new album and his average fee per show.
After a shocking 24-hour silence on Twitter (a major feat for a man often accused of spending too much time on the social network), Deadmau5 revealed his absence was due to being busy working on several live shows including one with Eric Prydz and one for Veld Music Festival.

No other details about the record, which will be Deadmau5' eighth studio album and his first since 2014's 'while (1<2)', have been revealed as of yet.
Deadmau5 also revealed that, on average, he now earns anywhere between $400,000 and $1 million per performance, a considerable mark up since he fees were last published in 2014, when they came in between £200-250,000.
