PIONEER PRO AUDIO AND FABRIC JOIN FORCES

Pioneer Pro Audio and fabric come together to recreate main room action at this weekend's Lovebox Festival

London nightclub fabric has teamed up with Pioneer Pro Audio to assemble the sound system for its first-ever outdoor event, at Lovebox Festival. Taking place on 15th and 16th July 2016 in London’s Victoria Park, hosting live acts and DJs including Ricardo Villalobos, Jackmaster and Kano.

fabric and Pioneer have come together to recreate fabric’s Room One specially for the Lovebox Festival, giving party-goers the true fabric nightclub experience in a festival environment, a 2000-capacity, 38-metre round tent designed to recreate the vibe of the main room of the world famous venue.

Both fabric and Pioneer Pro Audio have gone to great lengths to make this happen, starting with the sound system which comprises of six three-metre GS-WAVE dancefloor stacks, twelve XY–218S 18-inch twin bass reflex subwoofers and twelve XY–122 12-inch two-way loudspeakers for infilling. Everything will be powered by Powersoft 1RU amplifiers, including multliples of high output, high efficiency K10 and K2 devices, with Armonía software.

The efforts to create the feel of a nightclub don’t end with the sound system. A birch wood floor similar to the one in Fabric’s Room One is being installed to give the right kind of feedback, the tent’s walls will be draped with damping material to control sideways reflections and contain low frequencies.

The DJ booth is also getting the Pioneer Pro Audio pimped up vibe and will allow festival goers to get up close and personal with the DJs during the course of the event.
