POWELL'S DEBUT ALBUM SET FOR OCTOBER RELEASE

Powell has revealed his debut album 'Sport' is set to drop this October via XL Recordings.

The Diagonal founder shared the news with a lucky fan following an intriguing stunt in which he plastered his email on billboards in London and New York and invited people to email him any questions they had.

Powell seems to have something of a penchant for billboards. Last year, after emailing Steve Albini asking permission to sample him on 'Insomniac', Powell posted the alt-rock veteran's typically ratty response — in which he announced " I detest club culture as deeply as I detest anything on earth" — on a billboard too.
