MASSIVE ATTACK SHARE NEW MUSIC VIA FANTOM APP

Could "sensory" streaming be the next big thing?

Massive Attack have uploaded two new tracks — 'Come Near Me' and 'The Spoils' — to their Fantom streaming app.

Launched back in January this year, Fantom is a "sensory music player" developed by a team including Massive Attack's Robert del Naja. The app is designed to remix tracks based on "environmental variables" such as movement, time of day, location, an integral moving image camera and even heartbeat.

Fantom also allows users to record unique audio-visual clips to share online.

The app is available to download for free via the App Store, and for more information head to the Fantom website.
