NEW ORDER TO RELEASE OWN GOLDEN ALE
Stray Dog will be available in the autumn...
New Order have teamed up with Lancashire-based Moorhouse's Brewery to create their own beer.
Named Stray Dog (after a track from their 2015 album, 'Music Complete') the 4.2% brew promises to be a “refreshing and clean tasting golden ale with hints of citrus fruit and lychee, all balanced by a subtle bitterness.” Sounds right up our street!
The beer will be officially launched at The Sawyer’s Arms in Manchester on Sunday 28th August, with a special New Order-themed party featuring DJs and competitions, before being made available nationally from September onwards.
Stray Dog joins the growing list of band-related beers, including Iron Maiden's Trooper and Danish brewery Mikkeller's White Lung bitter. For more information head to the New Order website.
