LISTEN TO DAN GHENACIA & CHRIS CARRIER’S BRAIN-MELTING CUT, ‘VAPORIZED’

Having brought back seminal imprint Music For Freaks last year after a seven-year hiatus, Luke Solomon and Justin Harris’ imprint returns with its next leftfield-sounding release from none other than legendary pairing Dan Ghenacia and Chris Carrier.

Ghenacia — as you probably already know — earnt his stripes in Paris' underground scene over the last couple of decades; he’s also ther founder of Freak N’Chic, but more recently has been focussing his attention on b2b2b DJ outfit, Apollonia.

Chris Carrier, owner of Adult Only records, teams up with his long-time friend Dan Ghenacia for Music For Freak’s latest — and it’s just about the best thing you’ll hear this week.

We’re excited to be premiering ‘Vaporized’ which sees the duo on fine form as they build a track out of jangling percussion lines, gloopy basslines, and brain-melting synth work. By the time you hit the halfway mark the duo bring all those parts — as well as unnerving samples, robotic vocals, and fluttering acid top lines — to the boil for an outstanding cut of disco-fied leftfield house that’s being played non-stop by Ricardo Villalobos and many more.
