GILLES PETERSON’S WORLDWIDE FM LAUNCHES

His Worldwide brand has hit the airwaves...

Worldwide FM, Gilles Peterson’s new online radio network that he runs alongside Boiler Room’s Thris Tian, has been launched. We revealed that the Worldwide brand would be hitting the airwaves last month (August).

Worldwide FM will be hosted by Peterson and Tian, and will feature guest DJs, live sessions, interviews and discussion with the aim of continuing the Worldwide mission to “explore and tie together the shape-shifting diversity of global music.”

The online radio network will reportedly be launching offices in Los Angeles and across Europe, and to help on selection duties, Peterson and Tian have brought in Tokyo’s Toshio Matsuura and Brussels’ DJ Lefto as global ambassadors for the station.

The Worldwide FM name may be familiar to gaming fans, as it was the name of the network Peterson hosted on Grand Theft Auto V.

You can listen to the channel at worldwidefm.net.
