Warung Releases First Compilation
16 Bit Lolitas first up on the Warung Brazil CD series
The magical Brazilian venue Warung Beach Club celebrates the launch of their CD series titled 'Warung Brazil' with long time collaborators Ariaan Olieroock and Peter Kriek aka 16 Bit Lolitas, the house duo from Amsterdam.
"16 Bit Lolitas were the perfect artists, considering their history at the club and their amazing tracks and remixes," said Gustavi Rassi of Warung Beach Club.
Warung Beach was voted ninth best club by the worlds top DJs earlier this year. Amongst the trees of the Brazilian rainforest overlooking the notoriously clear waters of Brava Beach sits this infamously exotic club. Audiofly, Timo Maas and Laurent Garnier are just some of the DJs that will be playing there the coming months.
This atypical release includes both a compilation and 12 new productions. "When we heard their idea for the album, we knew we were right about this feeling," explained Rassi. Disc one includes tracks by Sharam Jay, Jennifer Horne, Spirit Catcher, Haito & Diringer and the notorious D-Nox & Beckers.
16 Bit Lolitas are known to have appeared on almost every progressive DJs' tracklist over the past four years, their 12 new productions are bound to secure their status as prog house heavyweights.
