When we picked up Joe Carson, aka Courage, for our Cheeky Bubblers feature back in July, we knew he'd be perfect Fresh Kicks material — and boy has he delivered!

The Lincoln-born, London-based DJ/producer has already landed several hits, most notably with RAY BLK's 'My Hood' featuring none other than grimestar, Stormzy, a massive official remix of 'On My Mind' by Ellie Goulding and his 'Icarus' single for Black Butter.

Next up Courage is teaming up with vocalist Carmody, dropping chilled out tropical licks on 'We Had The Night' from upcoming EP 'Get Some Courage Volume 1'. “Carmody was a singer I'd wanted to work with for a long time," says Courage via press release, "we wrote this after getting excited about all the upcoming summer festivals. We actually ended up bumping into each other in the early hours at Glastonbury, I guess it came full circle!” Grab a copy via iTunes and add it to your Spotify playlist.

Building a rep with his varied and eclectic productions, Courage's Fresh Kicks mix takes a similar direction, light and upbeat for the most part, packed with fun-time house, garage and disco (with a sprinkling of shadow here and there for good measure).
