DAFT PUNK REPORTEDLY NOT TOURING IN 2017

The robots “aren’t accepting live offers”...

Earlier this week, Daft Punk were rumoured to be touring in 2017, but now reports have come that the robots live return has been greatly exaggerated.

Consequence of Sound reports that an “industry source” has confirmed that Daft Punk have no plans to perform live next year.

Speaking on online forum/aggregator Reddit, Consequence of Sound founder, Alex Young, went on to say that sources have confirmed “they aren’t accepting live offers”.

There is still currently no official word from the Daft Punk camp.

The timing would fit with Daft Punk's past touring itinerary, with the duo playing live once every 10 years — they played at Glastonbury in '97, followed by Wireless, Rockness and Oxegen festivals 10 years later in 2007.

Daft Punk recently featured on The Weeknd's new single 'Starboy', the first outing since their LP 'Random Access Memories' in 2013.
