DAFT PUNK ALIVE 2017 TOUR RUMOURS RESTART AFTER MYSTERIOUS WEBSITE APPEARS ONLINE

After last week’s rumour about a Daft Punk tour was quickly debunked, this week an eagle-eyed Redditor has stumbled across Alive2017.com.

And what makes this particular website so interesting is that the numbers hidden behind its logo and source code are littered with Daft Punk clues.

Hidden in the source code are coordinates for 8 cities including London, Paris, Sao Paulo, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Ibiza and Indio (Coachella).

Then there’s some more coordinates — but they’re not on earth but instead in space, more specifically the Andromeda galaxy.

There’s also the words “Shep Logged Out” in the source code, which we're reliably informed was a character from Interstellar 5555.

And finally the numbers hidden in the Alive logo are apparently a countdown timer that ends on Thursday 27th October. So what does this all mean?

Well, it's either a really clever hoax by a Daft Punk fan with way too much time on his/her hands, or it just might be the first major clue that Daft Punk will be touring in 2017. 

Whatever is happening, we'll know more once the countdown timer has finished on Thursday 27th October.
