Kate Moross, owner of super-slick blogtastic record label Isomorph, is expanding her empire with Iso Tees - a special, limited run of T-shirts, each one with an exclusive band design emblazoned across the front.
Moross, a designer by trade, has devised a series of fresh Ts which are set to feature some of the coolest electronic acts around. Her first design is for NYC's hottest new duo, Telepathe (featured in the latest edition of DJmag), whose club savvy, dubstep driven electro pop album 'Dance Mother' is already causing seismic rumbles across the cooler quarters of the musical globe. Her next projects include hip styles for incendiary electro masters Simian Mobile Disco and wired synth popsters Metronomy, with more to come. They'll be stocked at Rough Trade East, with 15 shirts available per month in store. But be quick - only 50-100 of each will be produced, making them as rare as hen's teeth.
Moross's label has released cool electro cuts from Cutting Pink With Knives, Hearts Revolution, Midnight Juggernauts and Apes & Androids, each with record sleeves featuring her distinctive geometric designs, while the designer has also had great success with a clothing line for Topshop and an ad campaign for Cadburys. The Ts are available here: isomorphs.com.
