Mulletover, Finger Lickin' and Further Project have been confirmed to host the club tent at this year's Glade festival. Following news that Winchester's Matterley Bowl will be the location of choice for the event – held from 16th – 19th July 2009 – the club tent is set to become an intrinsic part Glade's ever psychedelic nocturnal charm.
Further Project open the tent on Friday night with the mechanical tech house rumblings of Format B (Live), John Monkman (Live) and Disco Stu. Expect all the anarachy of FP's regular 'Final Fridays' mash up at the Rhythm factory amplified to eleven and set to stun.
Mulletover's Saturday night line-up fuses two decades of techno into one bang-on-point line-up. Representing the old school, yet sounding fresher and more progressive than ever is End Club supremeo Mr C. He will be joined by Jamie Jones who is set to make serious noise this summer – helped in no small part by his season defining epic 'Summertime' out 11th May on Crosstown Rebels. Master of atmospherics and the deepest depths, Adultnapper also represents on the night topping of a techno wet dream that will take some beating.
In true Glade tradition Sunday night pays testament to the sound of the breakbeat. Although taking a slightly smaller roll in this year's proceedings, breakbeats have always been at the core of what Glade do. And there is no label more equipped to represent this than the ever consistent Finger Lickin'. After a decade in the business, these guys know how to throw a party. And with the likes of Krafty Kuts, Soul of Man, A Skillz and Rennie Pilgrim on display this is going to be a send off to remember!
