The first stage in the hunt for Britain's best undiscovered hard dance DJ talent is over.

Sack loads of CDs arrived at Tidy HQ as part of a competition run in conjunction with DJmag.

Tidy's roster of professional hard dance jocks and experts must now whittle down all the entrants to just 15 competitors, who will battle it out in DJing heats across Britain.

Leeds, Liverpool, and London will each host a DJmag/Tidy DJ heat, with the ultimate aim of choosing three heat winners, plus a winner from Tidy's internet messageboard, to battle it out at the final in London on 28th July 2006.

The eventual winner will play the opening set in the Tidy arena at the massive Creamfields festival in August, as well as be offered a 12 month contract with Tidy DJ Management.

Not only that – the champion will also broadcast a one hour mix for Galaxy Radio's New Breed show which reaches thousands of dance fans a week, and be featured in DJmag!

Make no mistake, this competition could make you a star.

The only bad news is the closing date for the competition was 31 May, so if you missed the deadline, you missed the boat.
