Next Generation DJ, our global talent search with partners LetsMix.com, Beatport and Pioneer is off to a flying start!

Almost 2000 of you have submitted mixes to NGDJ since the launch just before Christmas. Now the battle begins. Social networks are buzzing with DJs promoting their mixes in the hope of landing a career defining trip to Miami to play sets at the DJmag and Beatport Pool Parties during this year's WMC!

If you haven’t submitted a mix yet, it’s about time to break out that magic!

January 31st is the cut-off date for the first round. On this date the pack will be reduced to 100 finalists. To be one of the 100 DJs in the second round, you need to get at least 200 votes for your mix.

From there, the 100 mixes with the highest average rating will continue in the competition. In the second round, every DJ will be asked to create and publish a new WMC 2010 themed mix.

The final winner will be decided by the NGDJ jury. NGDJ contestants go head-to-head in terms mixing and track selection, but they also need to be at the top of their game when it comes to self-promotion. Success in today’s competitive DJ market is all about getting heard – so start making noise!
