Morgan Page Believes!

US Progressive Star Releases Debut LP

It has been some year for US progressive upstart Morgan Page. After topping both the iTunes & Beatport charts with a string of dancefloor shattering singles and remixes Page has his sight firmly set on his debut album – ‘Believe’ which was released yesterday.

‘Believe’ is set to launch Page into the global stratosphere. While already huge in the US as a result of high profile remixes for the likes of Madonna, Katy Perry and La Roux plus the small matter of a Grammy nomination for Deadmau5’s remix of his track The Longest Road, this album marks Pages arrival on the global scene.

The first single from the album ‘Fight For You’ has picked up support from a stunning array of DJ talent. Everyone from Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Dave Dresden and even Hernan Cattaneo have been hammering it on promo for months.

With impassioned lyrics and swift, clean guitars, the track embodies Believe’s fragile yet faithful feel, pushing through wistful cinematic shades to the promise of something better up ahead.

Believe is very dark, but I’m not a dark person at all,” Page opines. “I just lean towards these specific chords and melodies. Melancholy with a little bit of hope.”

Page wrangled some serious talent to help color the chords and melody he chose.  Along with a familiar voice on the Pete Yorn cover of “Strange Condition”, Page enlists the vocal talents of Telepopmusik’s Angela McCluskey, Matt Alber and Gabriel & Dresden alumnus Jan Burton. On he moody “In The Dark,” Page himself even takes a turn on the mic at the urging of another G&D contributor, Molly Bancroft.
