Lovebox
Three is the magic number for London’s Lovebox this year, for they’re stretching out their outdoor East London shenanigans from Friday to Sunday for the first time.
Festival founders Groove Armada are curiously absent from this year’s line-up, but there’s few complaints with the headlining trio of Dizzee Rascal, Bryan Ferry’s art-rock icons Roxy Music and the eternally cool Grace Jones. From Chase & Status to Cut Copy, Ellie Goulding to Empire Of The Sun, the line-up as a whole cuts an effortlessly cool line across the best in bass music, indie, grime, dubstep, future garage, alt-pop, soul, funk, techno and deep house, with plenty bespoke barminess and extra-curricular eccentricities besides.
