The Prodigy headline Snowbombing

The summer festival season is now over, which means its time to dig out your salopettes and snowboard to gear up for 2011's Snowbombing.

Taking place from the 4th - 9th April at Mayrhofen, Austria, this year's headliners are none other than the mighty Prodigy.

“This is the biggest band we have ever had at Snowbombing and it shows our commitment to growing the festival each year with people and talent," says Gareth Cooper, Snowbombing founder.

"We are really proud to have The Prodigy playing in one of our amazing venues – a forest clearing with wooden stage surround by the snow topped mountains of the alps in Mayrhofen. We have pushed the boat out for the 5000 people that go to the festival, this is just the start, the rest of the lineup that we will be announcing over the coming weeks is going to be equally impressive showing that pound for pound Snowbombing is one of the most unique festivals in the world”

Set over six days and five nights, with seven stages, prices start from £289 for accommodation and all the entertainment so reserve your place now. And if you're still not convinced, check this video from last year.
