Carl Cox supports ActionAid

Join him to mark World AIDS day with a party on 1st December

Carl Cox has teamed up with ActionAid to ask clubbers, DJs and promoters to throw a party – no matter how big or small - to mark World AIDS Day on 1st December.

Part of the punk-rock sounding Bollocks to Poverty tour, Carl has donated a playlist of tracks which you can listen to at the Bollocks to Poverty online music shop. So in addition to anything you raise from your party, if you buy these, ActionAid get a slice of the profit to help fund projects overseas.

To help your event go off, ActionAid will provide freebies such as decorations, ‘Bollocks to Poverty’ badges and stickers, plus they’ll promote it over their extensive social-network, perfect whether you want to help a good cause and get a few extra people to an existing event or use it as an excuse to throw a one-off party for your mates.

As Carl says, “World AIDS Day is our opportunity to show support for the 33 million people living with HIV/AIDS around the world, especially those fighting against poverty as well. If you can get a party or club night together for ActionAid and raise some money and awareness, it will make a big difference.”
