Andy Blake hits the road

DJmag new columnist's triple gigs header

Having secured a regular dispatch for the mag from the ever active brain of Andy Blake, the driving force behind Dissident Records and Cave Paintings, and a perenial fixture behind the decks oof the UK's bars, clubs and warehouse ssince pre-acid house days, we thought we'd mentioned some of the myriad of gigs he's been lining up beyond the confines of his weekly World Unknown Party.

Friday sees the launch of 7>12 at Queen of Hoxton, a celebration of 45rpm 7" vinyl, where Andy will be joined by Tom Furse of The Horrors. Saturday sees him play a six hour vinyl only set of deep house, boogie and heavy disco at The Nest, while Sunday rounds off with a jaunt to Scotland for another full night of Blake at Optimo's latest venture, Hung Up! Knackered just reading that? Us too!
