Lovebox pop-up at Village Underground

London festival hits East London over Easter weekend

2011 marks the ninth anniversary of one of London's most cherished music festivals, Lovebox. This year they mark their birthday with a three-day Easter weekender set in the heart of London.

Over three days, the cultural explosion will take place inEast London's favourite hub of innovative creativity, Village Underground. Prepare for top of the range acts, music and next level ideas. Expect the best in hip-hop, electro, house, amongst just about everything else you could think of including a tracksuit party.

Thursday 21st April - Warp At The Bang Box

The first in the three day extravaganza sees a night hosted by Lovebox's little brother Bang The Box, who will be teaming up with WARP Records for a bass-heavy club night. WARP will delivering a red hot line-up headlined by Hudson Mohawke, the hip-hop and '90s dance music inspired fusionist, and beats and bass scentist Rustie. Joining them are Kwes and Radio 1's Benji B.

Friday 22nd April - Tayos Tracksuit Party/Fresh To Death

Withhip hop karaokeand the finest indisco-house and electro, all made that little bit more comfortable with the additions of tracksuits, fresh live acts and DJs include Wookie, D-Bridge, The Heatwave -Vs- Sticky, Southern Hospitality, Tayo3000, Sophie Lloyd, and J33, all playing the finest in the music we love.

Time: 10pm - 6am.

Saturday 23rd April - OOF (Out & Out Fierce)

The sexually charged last night comes in the form of OOF (Out & Out Fierce). Flying over from New York is Andy Butler, founder of the infamous 'Mr INTL' label alongside Hercules and Love Affair's  Kim Ann Foxman. Also appearing will be Horse Meat Disco's very own Jim Stanton and DJ Severino, plus Dan Beaumont and Dave Kendrick
