Austria’s Springfestival starts Wednesday

The beautiful city of Graz, Austria, to host Springfestival from 1st June to 5th June

It’s not too late to make it down to Graz, Austria for this year's installment of the five-day celebration of electronic music and art known as Springfestival.

“We feel we have got another really strong line-up coming together in beautiful Graz, which is now incredibly a UNESCO City of Design too,” said Tim Ertl, one of springfestival’s directors.

With a killer line-up including everyone from Caribou, Hercules And Love Affair, Atari Teenage Riot, Jungle Brothers, Tensnake, Patrick Wolf, Isolee, DOP, Apparat, DELS, London Elektricity, J Rocc, Aeroplane, Carte Blanche, Steve Bug, Michael Mayer and many more all DJing, Springfestival offers a widespread selection of entertainment, art and electronic culture.

The festival will also host Springsessions, an enriching, thought-provoking conference featuring visual artists, creative directors, programmers, filmmakers and social experimenters who will be addressing some of the more fascinating challenges faced by the ever-evolving music and technology scenes.

With technology in electronic music constantly changing the discussion schedule to take place at the conference couldn’t be more relevant than ever. Speakers include Robert Lindström, Jason Theodor, Jared Ficklin and other creative minds and like thinkers.

Also at the festival will be the Red Bull Academy facilitating discussions with musicians and FM4 who will be broadcasting live from the festival.

The festival has also put together a compilation of songs featuring some of the best electronic artists.  The first 1000 albums can be downloaded for free at  http://www.zero-inch.com/get/springfestival
