Random Concept is back for another summer smash
Twelve hours, eighty artists, five arenas, an outdoor stage... twenty-two quid? Yes that’s right, the Random Concept Drum & Bass Summer Gathering 2011, really is only £22. No other event this summer will bring you this volume of high quality artists at such an accessible price.
On the 30th July the Roadmender, Northampton, will see 2500 ravers descend on the grounds of this former school. The guys at Random Concept have worked hard to ensure the biggest and best names in drum and bass are in attendance to this mammoth day-long event.
Falling at the peak of the summer, it starts at 5pm and rolls right the way though to 5am. Spend the day catching some rays (hopefully) while your ear soaks up the sounds of BAR:RAGE and the Harry Shotta Show. Kenny Ken & MC Fearless playinga jungle set, Nicky Blackmarket b2b Garry K and MC Presha performing a special 1997-2011 history of jungle set. Then watch the sunset to Andy C and GQ’s headline set, rave away the last few hours outside until 11pm when everyone will make their way into the indoor arenas which open until 5am.
