Reviving the sounds of classic clubbing eras

From 29th - 31st of July, London’s Southbank Centre will be transformed into 21 acres of captured past celebrating art, fashion, music, film, design and all things cultural from the 1920’s to the 1980’s.  

The fires of past clubbing memories may just be embers glowing in the back of you mind but some class DJ selection from Vintage Festival will help to rekindle that old flame with an all British line-up ready to transport you back through the long lost eras of dance.

Four separate ‘nightclubs’ will be set up within the interior of the Royal Festival Hall

The Warehouse celebrate the UK's heritage of acid house and rave with an all-star line-up over the Friday, Saturday and Sundy which includes Andy Weatherall, Trevor Fung, A Guy Called Gerald, Ashley Beedle and loads more including Greg Wilson who, alongside Jack Hemingway, curates the stage and the Style Studio 1970swhich is dedicated to all things D.I.S.C.O. This time you can catch the likes of Disco Bloodbath, Horse Meat Disco,Chris Duckenfield, Joey Negro, Leo Zero, The Revenge amongst many others.

The Penthouse 1980s celebrates all things new romantic, bebop and jazz with DJs such as Jeffrey Hinton and Mark Moore representing clubs such London’s Blitz, Wag and Le Beat Route, to Manchester's Legend and Berlin.

Soul Casino 1980s meanwhile represents classic and Northern soul, and rare groove, curated by Eddie Piller with DJs such as Dr Bob Jones and Keb Darge representing the sounds of Wigan, Blackpool and the legendary funk weekenders.
