James Blake announces UK tour

Murcury Prize nominee - James Blake - finishes off a busy 2011 by touring UK

With an already impressive 2011 that has seen James Blake ship more than 200,000 sales of his debut album, the remainder of his year certainly does not disappoint. Likewise, James Blake has announced his plans to tour the UK at the tail end of 2011.

Having spent the entire year touring across the globe, Autumn will see James Blake lighting up venues in North America for the second time but returns to the UK afterwards to excite fans keen to see the artist who came runner up in the BBC’s Sound of 2011 poll. This will include events at the likes of Leeds University, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, Anson Rooms in Bristol and then finishing off the eagerly anticipated tour at The Forum in London.

Adding to his already impressive resume, James Blake was nominated for a Murcury Music Prize at the beginning of the year and rapidly gained a reputation as a must-see artist by lighting up festivals such as Glastonbury this year. Equally impressive and highlighting his quick rise to prominence is his anticipated live performance at Bestival next month, sure to add to what has been an astonishing year for the talented Londoner.
