Soma celebrate 20th with triple compilation

Include previously unreleased Daft Punk track!

September is an epoch celebrating month for Soma, the Scottish Glasgow-based label who introduced the world to some of house and techno’s biggest draws including Daft Punk, Funk d’Void, Slam (aka label bosses Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) and Silicone Soul, and this year reach their 20th birthday.

Out September 19th is ‘Soma Records - 20 Years’ a whopping triple compilation which contains an unmixed CD of their finest moments including ‘Right On, Right On’, ‘Diablo’ and Daft Punk’s funked up mix of Scott’s Groove’s Parliament/Funkadelic sampling ‘Mothership Reconnection’, plus mixes from Slam and Silicone Soul.

Not only that, but after digging through the dusty boxes in their offices they’re uncovered a previously unreleased Daft Punk track called 'Drive Unreleased 1994', something that’s sure to resonate with anyone who has ‘Homework’ on their shelf at home - and if you don't, shame on you!

Join them for birthday parties at Pressure at the Arches, Glasgow, on Friday 20th September and Fabric, London, or Saturday 1st October.
