Online music production school Point Blank have launched a new course for those DJs hoping to brush up on their Serato Scratch skills. The new DJ Skills course is specially developed for DJs using the platform.
Harnessing the best of both worlds, Serato Scratch Live software allows selectors to manipulate digital music files from a typical turntable or CD deck, offering the perfect bridge for DJs used to playing with the established formats, but keen to make use of new technology.
The course tutor is DJ Blakey, former DMC champion and Fabric resident: capable hands indeed.
Students will learn how to make best use of every aspect of Serato Scratch Live, from beat-matching to looping, scratching and multi-deck mixing.
