DMC World Finals start tonight!

New rules for DMC after 27 years

Now in it’s 27th year the The DMC Championships has decided to take the competition to the next level. For the first year ever competitors are able to utilise the full spectrum of DJing computer programmes most notably that of event sponsors Serato. Yet again DMC have scouted the globe

for the world’s premiare DJ talents. From London to Tokyo to Brazil in a series of harsh heats the finalist battled their way to the final, which is taking place in London’s indigO2. This two-day event will see winners crowned righteous in three of the world's most prestigious turntable titles.

Thursday 6th October over 100 DJs will go to war for The Battle for World Supremacy and The World Team Battle. In between battles fans are subjected to a sumptuous showcase featuring turntable legends The X-Ecutioners joined by all girl beatbox crew The Boxettes and Hobbit. And icing the cake will be DMC host Inja performing his latest track.

Friday 7th October makes way for the main event the final battle will commence The DJ Championship World Final. Playing for team UK this year is DJ JFB who found fame through DJing for Beardyman and his stunning production skills. The winner will receive reams of prizes, but this year sponsors Rane and Serato have generously donated a special prize; a gold Rane 68 Mixer worth $5000. Let the battle commence.
