Housemeister new Boysnoize Records single

Like fellow Berliners Modeselektor, Housemeister has always kept the early spirit of post-wall Berlin alive. Working off the back of a free-spirited punk attitude, his genre transgressing work draws heavily on techno and electro but as latest single ‘Weird Friends’ (out now on Boysnoize Records) shows, he’s adept at any tempo.

Featuring the vocal talents of US rapper P.O.S, ‘Weird Friends’ throws indie hip-hop together with popping beats and lo-fi bass for a uniquely leftfield party piece. Based on the track ‘Hirschkeule’ from his latest album ‘Music Is Awesome’, Housemeister has kindly given as an exclusive ‘Funky Cold Housi’ remix to download.
