Beatfreakz Single Withdrawn

Dutch dance act Beatfreakz have had to withdraw their single from the charts after using Superman's logo without permission.

Dutch dance act Beatfreakz have been told they must withdraw their current single from the UK charts because their CD cover artwork contains the famous 'S' logo from Superman's suit.

The track, 'Superfreak', is currently at number seven in the UK charts.

Beatfreakz have already enjoyed public attention following the release of their single 'Somebody's Watching Me' which was accompanied by a spoof video of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'.

A band spokesperson confirmed that they have been told to recall the release, and have also removed the logo from their website.

Beatfreakz' label Ministry of Sound made no comment.
