Red Bull Music Academy New York

All aspiring producers, vocalists, engineers, instrumentalists, MCs and broadcasters, take heed... applications for the next Red Bull Music Academy, which takes place in New York from the 30th September to the 2nd of November, are still being taken until the 2nd of April. As a taster of what to expect, Wednesday 28th March welcomes a London Lecture Session at the Red Bull Studios featuring LCD Soundsystem main man James Murphy (who despite the self started rumour hasn't lost his edge) and Chicago pioneer Frankie Knuckles chatting about their life in music, a set from Academy graduate Hudson Mohawke plus a production masterclass from CDR man and Academy tutor Tony Nwachukwu, previously part of Attica Blues.

And if you want to party with some ex-Red Bull alumni then join them and Discoclash for their party at East Village on Thursday 1st March.
