Oscar G drops his 'Beats'

New album released from Murk man on Nervous Records

While the US is swept away by the sound of electro and progressive house, as well as dubstep, the Miami-based Oscar G, whose productions as part of Murk and Funky Green Dogs helped define the club sound of the '90s, shows the deeper side of house on new album 'Beats' (out now).

"I'm proud of this album," says the artist who released 2011 smash 'Amame' alongside Murk partner Ralph Falcon. "It's on a deeper tip from past material and as it's all songs I wrote myself it's satisfying on an artistic tip. I've been inspired by what seems to be return to the deeper side of things, especially in the midst of the commercialization of this music that we all live and breathe."
