Beatport launch mixtape download store

Already a leader in downloads for DJs, Beatport have launched a new limited public beta site, Beatport Mixes, featuring DRM-free, high-definition DJ mixes for download.
 
With exclusive mixes from the likes of Fedde Le Grand, Todd Terry, Stefano Noferini and Diplo, whose 'Enter The Beat Portal' moombahton mix clocks in at 24 tracks over 59 minutes, users can handily preview each track on the mix before purchase.
 
“I was always a DJ before I was making original tracks,” says Diplo. “The DJ is the backbone of dance music. DJs [have] been the direct distributor, and mixtapes are the way I can bring fresh sounds to people. Real DJs don’t wait for them to blow up.
