Paolo Mojo Taken Ill

House DJ Paolo Mojo has cancelled all his upcoming gigs after experiencing severe stomach problems.

On Monday 23rd October, Paolo was taken to hospital and underwent extensive tests after experiencing pain in his abdomen.

At first it was believed that Paolo was still experiencing symptons of Salmonella that the DJ had contracted in Lisbon two weeks prebviously, but his management has now confirmed that he has in fact a severe stomach problem known as acute pancreatitis.

Pancreatitis

Pancreatitis is a breakdown in the function of the pancreas, an essential part of the stomach, and if left untreated it can kill.

A statement from Paolo Mojo's management read: "Paolo and his management would like to apologise to his many fans in South America for the cancellation of his bookings for the next two weeks and we look forward to coming to South America again very soon.

"We are all wishing Paolo a speedy recovery from this horrible illness."

Doctors have advised Paolo to remain in the UK for the results of his tests.

If there is no change in his condition, he will have to be admitted to hospital for intensive treatment.
