Brighton's Scthumm! making more noise
It's been quite a year for Schtumm!. Boasting Maxxi Soundsystem as resident and originator, today it's a promotion juggernaut steered by its other brainchild Neal Lewis, better known to Brighton's beat junkies as Neal Schtumm.
Celebrating its fifth year of dancefloor dominance with a rare UK appearance from Cajmere and an exchange with Bristol's Futureboogie imprint, which saw Eats Everything, Waif & Strays and the Futureboogie DJs, 2012 has seen the night go from strength to strength, further making its mark as one of the south east's most well respected booking forces for disco-informed house and techno.
Next up, Audio Brighton will welcome Germany's vibrant party duo Adana Twins, who'll bring their full-flavoured 4/4s spilling with funk, alongside Purp & Soul's Ben Pearce and Neal himself on Friday 5th October. Just remember, keep it under your hat!
