Six years of Bitch

Manchester colossus bares claws for big birthday

Six years is a long time in dance music. No doubt it'll allow Danny Avila suitable space to grow an actual beard, it's taken dubstep that long to make its way from humble origins in Croydon to the most decadent rooms across the Atlantic and it's the time Bitch – Manchester's formidable house  and progressive beast – has now walked the earth. And, don't we know it!?

Marking its territory like any true bitch in its prime would, it's enjoyed a increasingly successful residency within the plush confines of Manchester's Venus and appearances at Papaya Beach Club in Croatia, while looking forward to hosting a stage at Leeds' Mint Festival on Saturday 29th September, featuring Eddie Halliwell, Michael Woods, Danny Howard, D.O.D, Kryder, Felix Leiter and B3.

Following a day of outdoor stomping next to a stately home at Leeds' Lotherton Hall, this monster will haul its backside to its monthly dwelling in Manchester, where Michael Woods will take the reins with support from B3, Chris J Frater, Reworked Robot, Paul Nag, Phil Caine, John Steward and Rob Callaghan. This is one bitch you should mess with!
