Raised in Croydon alongside the likes of Joy Orbison, A1 Bassline’s earliest productions showed the garage influence of his teenage years. But after releases for labels like Southern Fried, he set up Tighten Up Records, releasing tracks alongside the likes of old school heroes Dem 2 and childhood friend Kavsrave with a new sound taking in techier influences.

This week seems him welcomed into the ranks of San Francisco’s Dirtybird with the frankly massive ‘Falsehood’. To celebrate he dropped us this mix packed with past and future releases, alongside techno, house and bass heads like Levon Vincent and Objekt.
