Get Physical boys release the samples!

Native Instruments seem to be charging ahead when it comes to the DJing community, and now they have jumped into the domain of the sample library with their new generation of Traktor 'Remix Sets'. These all-in-one packs gives producers and deck spinners complete tracks by renowned artists and DJs.

The added bonus of these new packs is that they are set up for immediate use with Native’s Traktor DJing software and the new Remix Decks.

DJs who buy these packs get all the samples that have gone into making the tracks as well as handy elements to perform live edits, layer individual parts, or work individual song elements into their sets, really opening up ‘live’ remix performance opportunities.

Other manufacturers are creating sample packs like these, but the emphasis has been directed more towards the production area of the industry. Whilst Native’s pack can be used for production, it has been made with DJs in mind.

The 'Remix Sets' are ready-to-go tracks, with their associated components broken up into bite-size samples that DJs can use at will, and they are not limited to using these packs with Traktor, as the samples can be loaded into Ableton Live, Serato’s sample player or any software that uses audio files.

The initial 'Remix Set' from Native is from Get Physical tech housers M.A.N.D.Y, with their new track 'Twisted Sister’. It comes with 64 loops and one-shot samples that are divided into different sections (drums, bass, synths and FX) for ease of use.

All the new 'Remix Sets' are available through Beatport and major download sites for £4.95.
