BEATPORT SOLD FOR $50M

According to the New York Times, dance music download store Beatport has been bought by SFX Entertainment.
The figure has not been publicly revealed, however the paper's sources believe this to be in excess of $50 million.
Robert F. X. Sillerman, owner of SFX entertainment said; “Beatport gives us direct contact with the DJs and lets us see what’s popular and what’s not. Most important, it gives us a massive platform for everything related to E.D.M.”
