CLUB WAREHOUSE: SOMEWHERE

Cheap guestlist for London launch with Richy Ahmed and Droog

Since re-opening last August, Edmonton's Club Warehouse has gone from from funky house haven to North East London's choice spot for decent deep house.

The next to join its ranks is Somewhere. Starting up on Saturday 20th April, Hot Creation's Richy Ahmed and Culprit trio Droog will both top the bill, while support comes from Mono 4 (Gist), B.A.R.E's JNR Windross and Somewhere resident and brainchild Rob Bishop.

Swapping handbag house for more understated sounds, Club Warehouse's shift in direction is a sign of a time when young UK clubbers are increasingly embracing deep disco and house touted by the likes of Jamie Jones, Maya Jane Coles and Solomun. Not that we are complaining. The venue welcomed the likes of No Artificial Colours, Clive Henry and The Martinez Brothers through its doors in recent months.
