MIAMI BLOG: DAY EIGHT

Saturday March 23rd

Welcome to day eight of our daily Miami Blog. We are now into the penultimate day of this year's WMC, and feeling the burn.

Last night saw Deadmau5 and David Guetta headline Ultra's enormous main stage. We were besieged by tweets from Guetta fans insisting he should regain his #1 position in the Top 100 DJs. Could the 'pop' backlash be settling at last? Tell us @djmag

Elsewhere we primed our sea legs and stepped aboard James Zabiela's boat party for a six hour trip around the waters of Miami. Zabiela was joined by Eats Everything, Four Tet, Miguel Campbell and Tensnake. In case you missed them, you can relive Zabiela & Eats' sets from our opening pool party HERE. Well worth repeat viewing!

Back at DJ Mag at Delano, Ibiza United & Moog Music bought an eclectic crew of DJ talent to the pool Techno luminaries Carl Craig, Martin Buttrich and Todd Terry were joined by house cats Pete Tong and Danny Avila.

Meanwhile at the epic Ice Palace, Downtown Miami (pictured above) - Crosstown Rebel's Get Lost party was in full swing with DJ Harvey throwing down house vibes to a grateful crowd.

We concluded the night at Treehouse, where Catz 'N Dogz played with Eats Everything for the Get Physical and Pets Recordings Showcase.

Today is the last day of Ultra, and the DJ Mag crew will be representing there today, so be sure to tweet us @djmag with your recommendations, photos and mini reviews. It is also the final day of DJ Mag at Delano and Yousef's Circus X party rolls in with a monster line up!

Before the final blog post tomorrow, we want to know your Miami 2013 highlights. Tweet them to @djmag and we will include the best ones in the blog tomorrow.

Until then!
