NOVATION ANNOUNCE LAUNCHPAD S
Update to popular grid controller
Novation today announced an update to their popular Launchpad Ableton Live controller.
Launchpad S, has an updated, brighter display, faster refresh rate and also adds plug-and-play compatibility with non Ableton software such as FL Studio (the press notes make no note of Logic or Cubase).
Probably the most exciting development is the associated iPad app. As in their recent Launchkey Series, Novation have created an iPad app to accompany their hardware. Not only can the Launchpad S be bus powered from the iPad, but it can also be used to trigger loops and remix on the fly.
